This past weekend my friend Samantha and I decided to take a mini girl’s vacay to Savannah, Georgia. At just over two hours away from Jacksonville and with tons of things to do, Savannah makes a great mini-vacay destination. Unfortunately for us it rained most of the time we were there but we were able to squeeze in a quick photoshoot before lunch on Monday. Tomorrow I’m going to recap some of the places we went and the delicious food we ate but for now here is What I Wore in Savannah, Georgia.
A giant tote to carry all of your shopping finds (and camera!) is a must for walking around Savannah as well as a pair of comfy walking shoes. These over-the-knee boots have been on constant rotation since I picked them up at Ross a few weeks ago.
Can you believe this necklace is from WalMart? And it was only $10! Also, I made this comment on Instagram and it seemed like an Ah-ha! moment for some of you but buy men’s button down shirts, especially if you’re larger chested like me. Slim fit or athletic shirts will still be tailored but you’ll avoid the annoying button gap. The majority of button downs in my closet are men’s as is this faux leather embellished one I’m wearing from Rue 21.
Savannah humidity was not kind to my hair… but that gave me a great opportunity to show off these black 360 Stud Earrings I picked up at Versona last week. (Also, don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a $25 Versona gift card! I’ll be announcing the winner on Friday.) Tomorrow I’ll tell you where to eat, drink, and shop in Savannah, Georgia.
