Where were you 13 years ago?

Tenth grade religion class. An announcement came across the intercom to switch on the TVs. I remember the fear in Mr. Ulmer’s face as we watched footage of the planes crashing into the buildings. We moved from class to class but really it was just from TV to TV. As the school day was winding down, we were getting antsy and tired of watching the news. Coach Shad dropped the F-Bomb, a major taboo in my private Catholic school.

God bless America and all who serve her.

Where were you when the world stopped turning on that September day?
