Valentine’s Fashion

When coming up with some great Valentine’s Day looks, I immediately thought about my favorite color scheme – red, leopard, and leather. Leopard has become a neutral pattern that it goes with practically anything, especially pops of red. And nothing takes an outfit from fab to drab quite like a little bit of leather.

Last year Adam and I had a nice romantic dinner at a very quaint Italian restaurant and a walk along the river in Downtown Saint Marys. I have no idea what type of outing we’ll have this year, but I’ve already started thinking about some outfit options.

Here are three affordable Valentine looks for any occasion.

Who says Valentine outings have to be at night? Beat the rush by having lunch with your sweetheart instead. Keep it casual in jeans but fashionable with leopard flats and festive accessories.

Turn your typical Valentine’s date into something special with this cheeky look. If you’re more of a modest girl, swap the skater dress for a classic maxi with a daring slit. And if you love the short dress but you’re not quite ready to flash those gams, throw on some tights. Whether it’s your first date or millionth date, make his jaw drop with this hot outfit.

Don’t worry, single lady! I didn’t forget about you. Get dolled up and go out with your friends. Love isn’t just for couples! Wear something comfortable but sassy so you can meet right after work. (Happy Hour doesn’t wait for wardrobe changes.) And don’t forget your confidence. Mr. Right could be waiting to buy you a drink.

Coming up with these looks has really inspired me to put together something different for my own Valentine date. How are you spending your Valentine’s Day?
