Adam and I went to see Lone Survivor yesterday afternoon. I balled my eyes out. I was almost one of those embarrassing people sobbing through the entire movie. There should be some rule about military spouses being allowed to watch movies like this. Other than all the tears though, the movie was really, really good. Four out of five stars from Wiggle. I’m taking one star away for all the tears I shed.
Thank goodness we took these photos before the movie because all my makeup was washed off! I found this oxblood maxi dress at a thrift store recently. It was love at first sight and I immediately started coming up with different ways to style it. It’s a tad bigger than I’d hoped and kinda looks like a potato sack without a belt but it’s going to be really comfy to wear during the warm months.
Since it’s been chilly, I decided to pair it with a cardi and tights. Note to self: tights and a cotton maxi are like velcro. I fought with static electricity all day. Surprisingly this leopard scarf is my first and a recent addition to my collection, a Christmas gift from my BFF. I love oxblood and leopard together. They just compliment each other so well.
This bracelet has been on repeat lately. It was a gift from Nana, though I can’t remember where it came from. Oh, and Fitbit is the new arm candy. Have you seen these things? They’re pretty neat and I’ve enjoyed tracking my steps and sleeping. (I’ve realized my activity rivals that of a sloth. Need to get steppin’!)
And shout out to that good hair day. I have the cooler weather to thank for that. Stick around a little longer. I could get used to having curls like this.
